Women's Circles
I started attending a local women's circle about two years ago which has had a profound effect on my well-being and sense of belonging. I found a supportive group of women who listen and share about life's challenges. It was also time where I could just be me - no role to play or hat to wear. Just a couple of hours to concentrate on myself. A circle is symbolic because it encourages equality, connection and trust. It represents wholeness - a circle has no beginning or end.
I felt called to create a local women's circle for myself so underwent training in order to facilitate this. In April 2026, I held my first circle. I chose to theme these circles based on the lunar cycles and the wheel of the year so that we could celebrate our ever changing selves. Circles are held monthly with a different focus each time but always have time for a guided meditation, journalling and an activity that supports the theme.

I have seen first hand how powerful it is when women gather in safe, intentional spaces. Spaces where we can share openly, be held without judgement and reconnect with ourselves and each other. These circles are created for women who carry a lot, hold many roles and rarely get the space to be held in return. This is not another thing to add to your to-do list but a place to exhale, soften and remember that you're supported. These circles aren't about adding more, it's about remembering our natural rhythms and honouring those together.
